3 Reasons Why Solar Garden Lights are the ONLY way forward

So, you’re looking for new solar garden lighting to go around the house, and you need to make an informed decision as to which category to choose – Fixed or Solar lights?  Many people install traditional light fixtures only to discover that they are both worrisome and expensive.  Add to this the fact that they do our environment damage, and you begin to see why fixed garden lighting is a mistake.

The way it used to be before Solar Powered Garden Lights
Light bulbs are a thing of the past.  It’s old news, I know, but some people resist change, or hold off until they are sure that it is no longer a fad, and the technology is established and here to stay.  Outdoor string lights have well and truly proved that they are here to stay, and as the technology develops further, they are likely to dominate outdoor megastores across the globe even more.

As recently as 5 years ago, renewable energy was a miniscule market which most considered a borderline prospect at best.  How drastically this has changed can’t be overstated.  Now, companies devote large sums to R&D to it, seeing it as the means of future profitability.  Decorative garden lighting used to not be able to compete with traditional garden lighting in terms of the strength of the light.  This also has changed.  With new led garden lights, it is standard for low voltage garden lights to be very competitive in terms of brightness.  And with energy prices soaring every year, which would you prefer?

For those of you who enjoy spending large amounts of time at the top of a ladder working out how to wire your latest floodlight or garden light acquisition, read no further.  But for the rest of us who value our time, and money, the alternatives to fixed lighting merit consideration.  Why?

Solar Garden Lights Save Time and Headaches
Installation is very simple, even a TOTAL beginner could install solar christmas lights.  The process is usually this easy: Buy a set of solar garden lighting (usually they’ll come in multi packs), remove the packaging, clear the ground around where you wish to place it and stick the stake in the ground.  Bet you never thought you’d become an electrician.  I won’t bore you with the details of comparing this to standard security lights or patio lights, but needless to say, there are more than 2 steps.

Solar Garden Lights Eliminate Ongoing Stress
Sure it’s easy to setup, but how are my stress levels any better once they’re installed you ask.  Well, forget replacement bulbs, so that means less time on the ladder, or scrabbling around in your yard, or drilling to remove covers.  Where solar lights for garden is concerned, it’s simply set and forget!

Granted, the old process of bulb replacement isn’t hugely time consuming, but if your to-do list is anything like mine, permanently crossing something off your to-do list is a huge blessing.  Depending on the quality you buy, they’ll be running just fine for up to 4 years down the road all on their own (and then you’ll probably just need to replace the batteries).

Solar Garden Lights Will Save You Money – Hand Over Fist!
Electricity is getting more expensive every day.  If you get a chance to lower your electricity bill, why wouldn’t you?  How often do you get to make a budgeting decision that takes the electricity expense of an item off your expenses permanently?  Now if only they sold solar power TV’s and fridges…

Some say that there is only one solar light that really works, and it’s due to last another 5 billion years or so.  I think that they’re wrong.  Solar garden lights are now at a point where they can compete in terms of brightness, even low voltage garden lights, and in the other areas as you can see, blows old-school garden lights out of the water.

Putting solar garden lights around your house has a multitude of benefits to you. Hinkley outdoor lighting is a necessity most of the time, so you may as well choose to reduce the associated hassles, bills, and time investments required.  And did I mention that you’re doing the Earth a favour also?
