When you’re looking at Stainless Steel Grills, it’s best to break it down into a number of broad categories. When the weather starts to warm up, firing up the gas grill is always on the cards. Whatever you have planned, a weber or hibachi grill might be just what you need to cater for the masses. If you do purchase a bbq grill, here are some tips.
Gas Grills, Charcoal Grills, or Electric Grills?
Electric Grills
Always a hot topic of discussion. Each has their supporters, and for good reason. Usually, an electric bbq grill is all hotplate, as the energy is transferred directly through from elements below. It is easy to clean (just add water and scrape), and quick to start. These are the lowest maintenance, but are almost like an electric frypan in a way. Personally, I rank them a second.
Charcoal Grills
These are always outdoor grills (get a Foreman Grill if you’re looking for an indoor grill). They add a nice smoky flavour, especially when you add grill covers. Basically, it’s a smoker grill, where you light coals and roast meat over them. They’re a pain to start, and don’t deliver great results. I rank this a third. They are usually much cheaper than the other two types of outdoor grills. As a tip, light the coals with a hairdryer. You lose your masculinity entirely, but it’ll light in record time. Depends on how much of a hurry you’re in. A distant third, unless you’re strapped for cash.
Gas Grills
These in my mind are by far the best. You can have a hotplate, a grill, they start everytime, easy to clean, And when you get the right grill covers, you can roast and oven cook certain bbq recipes. In my mind, this is a downright winner. Far and away the top choice.
