Outdoor kitchen Cabinets – Adding to Your Outdoor Kitchen

Outdoor Kitchen Cabinets

You’ll find that if you own a high end Outdoor kitchen, your Cabinets should include at least a few mounted units, possible a couple of chandeliers, wine coolers and beer taps. According to the 2006 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Home Design Trends Survey, there was a drastic increase in living spaces outdoors all across the US, so this would also have resulted in more Outdoor kitchen Cabinets being installed.  This means that there was an increase in money spent on landscaping outdoor spaces of homes. One of the most interesting aspects of the investigation was that two-thirds of surveyed architects declared that customers wanted a kitchen outdoors.  I’m not sure how true this is, but it sounds feasible.

One of the good things about outdoor living spaces is that they can be completed with a either a small or large budget, with more money, you can inject more personality into your outdoor décor and turn it itno a full blown kitchen, complete with Outdoor kitchen Cabinets. Some outdoor kitchens boast a full pantry, dishwashers and granite counters.

Another excellent addition to a kitchen box top can be a fireplace. Ready-made models made of real brick and stone are available for purchase in many parts of the world where Outdoor Kitchens are prevalent. If you live in a colder climate, be sure to include a few propane freestanding radiators so you can warm up the chilly evening and add some character and charm to your outdoor space.  Personally I really like the look of copper outdoor fireplaces and some lovely tiki copper flame lamps.

Large or compact, minimal or luxurious, one of the best aspects of the design of an outdoor kitchen is that unlike a piece of your house, you can do a work in progress and add to it as your budget allows. I started with a basic Outdoor kitchen design.  In the second round I added Outdoor kitchen Cabinets, and a sink, then I added electricity, which was when it got really fun, and had a bunch of small refrigerators.  One of the things that you should consider when planning your kitchen outdoors, except a sink integrated beer tap (my fave), are mosaic countertops. If you live in a region known for rain or bad weather, a covered area allows you to enjoy your outdoor kitchen no matter what the weather throws at you.

Outdoor Kitchen Cabinets Considerations

Choose outdoor dining furniture that will last when exposed to the elements and are ultra comfortable. When you design a fabulous outdoor kitchen, don’t forget your Outdoor kitchen Cabinets, especially if your kitchen island is not covered. You’ll be glad that you constructed a small cabana or a large bridge with a storage bench that will protect the cushions and accessories when they are not used.  Personally, I think Outdoor kitchen cabinets are a must, but not everyone agrees with me.
